The JOCF national office is pleased to share with you the roadmap inspired by the guidelines from the Year Campaign ‘Let us rise up to save lives’, which will enable us to rise up ‘in haste’ like Mary our mother, to carry out our internal action plan and, at the same time, to lead specific concrete actions at the grassroots level with the girls and young women in our community. ‘Apostolate of like by like.’
Reminder of the orientation in question: ‘Girls and young women, to safeguard our dignity, let us cultivate vigilance.’
Here are the areas of action to be explored and enriched by the grassroots federations for 2024-2025:
Concrete actions – Training and awareness-raising.
- Raise awareness about personal and collective responsibility and the naivety of flaws;
- Encourage the YCW to better fulfil its mission of raising awareness to save lives;
- Educate girls and young women about their rights and obligations;
Combat the phenomenon of ‘casting couch’ and sexual blackmail in the workplace.
These global actions should not prevent specific ones. Indeed, in the JOC, it is life that commands.
Let us always step back from the facts or situations of life, analyse them to find transformative actions.
