On 4 July 2026, the FIAC America meeting was held online in preparation for the 9th FIAC Assembly, scheduled to take place in Rome from 15 to 18 October on the theme “Catholic Action: Synodality and Mission”.
The meeting opened with a prayer for Venezuela, which had been dramatically struck by an earthquake.
Following a reflection on the Synod, synodality and its implementation, a number of ideas were shared to enable Catholic Action in the various countries to contribute to the implementation of the guidelines that emerged during the Synod.
The meeting continued with an in-depth discussion involving the leaders of the age-specific groups: young people, children and adults.
