REGULAR SESSION OF THE REGIONAL COUNCIL OF THE LAITY OF WEST AFRICA (CRLAO) IN DASSA-ZOUMÈ (BENIN)
The Executive Board of the Regional Council of the Laity of West Africa (CRLAO) will hold its ordinary session from 25 to 30 July 2025 in the diocese of Dassa-Zoumè, Republic of Benin.
Elected on 10 November 2024 in Abidjan during the Elective General Assembly, the Regional Executive Board is meeting for the first time to outline its governance.
This strategic session will be chaired by His Excellency Mgr François GNONHOUSSOU, President of the Episcopal Commission for the Laity and Families of the CERAO, and attended by the Reverend Father Vincent de Paul BORO, Ecclesiastical Assistant to the CRLAO and 1st Deputy Secretary General of the CERAO.
🎯 Objectives of the session:
✅ Develop the 2025-2028 Three-Year Action Plan
✅ Dynamically relaunch the activities of the Laity at the regional level

This time of fraternal work will strengthen communion among the laity of the sub-region, share best practices and build together a synodal, missionary Church committed to society.
