‘I always carry my testament – the rosary – in my pocket.’ (Pier Giorgio Frassati)
For Pier Giorgio, praying the Holy Rosary was a symbol of earthly and future life. He always carried his rosary with him and prayed it each day, without fear of reciting it wherever he was, among friends or while travelling around the city, during excursions to the mountains, while travelling, etc. It was a source of security and help for him, and his testimony encourages us to rediscover the power of this prayer, which the Holy Father asks us to recite for peace in this month of October 2025, a holy year.
