Young people of Catholic Action: report on the Jubilee

Rome is buzzing, and you can see it in the thousands of faces we are encountering these days.

In particular, in the square in front of Santa Maria in Vallicella church (“Chiesa Nuova”), where Italian Catholic Action has organised a packed programme of activities, many pilgrims from all over the world (Alaska, Chile, Poland, etc.) have gathered at the FIAC stand to share their testimonies about Pier Giorgio Frassati, a figure capable of uniting entire generations and continents.

As part of the “One Minute for Peace” initiative, we asked them to leave a message for peace.

Young people praying for peace and discussing peace, as in the “Hope on Air” talk organised yesterday with guests Gianni Borsa, Don Roman Demush (Deputy Head of Projects for the Youth Ministry Commission of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church UGCC) and H.E. Mgr. Maksim Ryabukha (Bishop of Donetsk), show that an alternative to warmongering rhetoric is possible.
