The Catholic Action Austria (KAÖ) invites all interested parties to a discussion with experts in its KA Salons. Following the first salon on the topic of democracy, the second salon will delve deeper into the topic of media. What responsibility do the media have for ensuring a vibrant democracy in the tension between market mechanisms and quality journalism? How can we deal with the particular challenges posed by the advance of the digital media world?
Katharina Renner, Vice-President of KAÖ, will discuss these issues with journalist Hans Rauscher (Der Standard) and media ethicist Linda Kreuzer (University of Vienna) at the KA Salon ‘Bread, Wine and Media’. As the name suggests, the discussion will be accompanied by tasty bread, good wine and grape juice.
The wine will be provided by the Umathum Winery.
