One year after his passing, we gathered as a Church to remember and give thanks for the life of Pope Francis, at the Basilica of Luján.
The celebration was presided over by Monsignor Colombo, Archbishop of Mendoza and president of the Argentina Bishops’Conference, and was attended by our president, Claudia Carbajal.
Together with bishops from across the country, priests and laypeople, we offered a prayer of gratitude for his witness, his closeness to the most vulnerable, and the legacy that continues to inspire our journey.
