Catholic Action Austria (KAÖ) is launching a new dialogue format. The events, called “KA Salon,” invite experts and leaders to “listening conversations” and “joint reflection,” accompanied by bread and wine. Each salon is dedicated to a social area in which Catholic Action aims to be effective.
The first KA Salon, entitled “Bread, Wine, and Democracy,” will take place on May 12 (7 p.m., Spiegelgasse 3/Mezzanine, 1010 Vienna). The focus will be on the question of Christians’ responsibility in nurturing and shaping democracy. Guests include Doris Helmberger, editor-in-chief of the weekly newspaper “Die Furche,” and political scientist Johannes Webhofer. The discussion will be moderated by KAÖ President Ferdinand Kaineder. The new KA dossier, “Living and Shaping Democracy,” will also be presented at this salon.
We cordially invite you to our first KA Salon on 12 May 2025!
