From 5 to 7 December 2025, the PlayHall facility in Riccione hosted the National Conference of Educators and Animators of Italian Catholic Action, entitled ‘ To the Top. For an educational choice faithful to the Gospel and to life’. There were over 1,700 participants.
The event is one of the most significant training opportunities for the association and brings together educators and animators of Catholic Action groups for children, teenagers and young people, together with adult animators and leaders of the Adult and Youth Sectors and the Catholic Action Children (ACR). It is an intergenerational, synodal and deeply community-based educational programme, which highlights the pluralistic richness of Catholic Action and the contribution of different vocations to educational service.
In the wake of the Jubilee Year and the Synodal Journey of the Churches in Italy, this conference was an opportunity to relaunch a common reflection on how Italian Catholic Action – through the educational service it offers to the Church and the country – can help to make the good seeds of our time grow with hope, in ecclesial communion and in the commitment to live synodality as a constitutive dimension, in the light of the Formative Project of Catholic Action.
