We implore the gift of peace.
“Each individual layman must stand before the world as a witness to the resurrection and life of the Lord Jesus and a symbol of the living God.” (Lumen Gentium 38)
The international situation is a source of great concern and dismay; we join in prayer and solidarity with all those who are suffering as a result of the many conflicts and their consequences, which now affect everyone’s lives. In particular, we pray for our governments to reopen the paths of dialogue, international law and peace may be reopened.
Christ died and rose again; Christ is the Prince of Peace. Christ is our peace.
