Invitation to daily Rosary prayer for peace.
A thought for peace every day
Objective: to spread Pope Leo XIV’s invitation to recite the Rosary every day during the month of October for peace, including through social media, with quotations taken mainly from the themes of the World Day of Peace, established by Pope Saint Paul VI in 1968.
We open the invitation to pray the Rosary for peace with the Beatitude of the Gospel and with the theme of the 2026 World Day of Peace proposed by Pope Leo XIV.
We anticipate the invitation to participate in an online meeting on the vigil of All Saints’ Day – 31 October. We will pray together for peace with Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati. (more information to follow)
We welcome and share in our associations Pope Leo XIV’s proposal for daily recitation of the rosary throughout the month of October.
‘Dear brothers and sisters, the month of October is now approaching, and in the Church it is dedicated in a special way to the Holy Rosary. Therefore, I invite everyone, every day of the coming month, to pray the Rosary for peace: personally, in the family, in the community.
I also invite those who serve in the Vatican to say this prayer in Saint Peter’s Basilica every day, at 19.00.
In particular, the evening of Saturday 11 October, at 18.00, we will pray it together here in Saint Peter’s Square, during the vigil for the Jubilee of Marian Spirituality, also commemorating the anniversary of the opening of Vatican Council II.’
