National representatives from 30 member and observer countries, together with numerous bishops and priests assistants, gathered in Rome at the TH Roma / Domus Mariae from 15 to 18 October 2026 for the International Conference on the theme “Catholic Action: synodality and mission”.
The conference included the 9th Ordinary Assembly of the International Forum of Catholic Action, during which the five countries of the Secretariat were elected for the four-year period 2026–2030: Argentina, Burundi, Philippines, Italy and Spain.
You can find the updated programme ‘after’ as we really experienced it together, the more than 100 participants. Over the coming days, the programme will be gradually updated with the available texts and photos.
Pope Leo XIV’s health problems led to the cancellation of the audience scheduled for us on 17 October at 11.30 am. We prayed for him and for his health every day, in particular through an Eucharistic adoration at the same time as our meeting was due to take place. We attended the Angelus on Sunday 18th October and we are very happy to receive the good news regarding his health.
Let us continue to pray for the Holy Father, particularly for his APOSTOLIC JOURNEY TO URUGUAY, ARGENTINA AND PERU 6–17 November 2026
