Since the synod process was convened in 2021, Catholic Action has been involved at every stage, aware that its long experience can enrich the Church and that much remains to be learned. Synodality is understood as walking together with Christ toward the Kingdom, in differentiated co-responsibility. It is a style still to be made real, not a strategy or a set of procedures.

Six challenges guide the reflection: being the People of God, living co-responsibility, building the Church as home and family, bearing social prophecy, embracing continual conversion, and investing in lifelong formation.

Experiences from the Philippines, Romania, Italy, Burundi and Argentina illustrate how these challenges are being met. Seeking the good of all together is not a utopia, but a real possibility.
