All Catholic Action associations around the world share the joy of Catholic Action of Argentina for Enrique Shaw (1921 – 1962), president of CA Argentina men, soon to be beatified.
On 18 December 2025 the Supreme Pontiff Leone XIV authorised the Congregation for the Causes of Saints to promulgate the Decree concerning the ‘miracle attributed to the intercession of the Venerable Servant of God Enrique Ernesto Shaw, faithful layman and father of a family, born on 26 February 1921 in Paris (France) and died on 27 August 1962 in Buenos Aires (Argentina)’.

From the ACDE – ACA press release (in Spanish),
a statement by Claudia Carbajal de Inzaurraga, ACA national president

Enrique participated in Catholic Action and, like many other “saints next door”, lived his faith with courage, sharing projects, spaces of communion, creating community in his work and social environment, a life that continues to inspire us to be “salt and light” in the world.
