On 26 June in Rome, the Third Assembly of the Foundation Catholic Action School of Sanctity Pius XI was held, in which the FIAC – which had been the promoter of the Foundation’s creation in 2007 – played an active role.
Pope Benedict XVI described witnesses as our most authentic identity card. They go before us, accompany us and support us on the path to sanctity in our time; all Catholic Action associations are committed to sharing them and reporting so that the Foundation may preserve and promote this common heritage.
On 25 June, an event was held in Rome on the theme: ‘Social Doctrine: A Way to Sanctity’, which introduced three significant AC witnesses in their respective countries through three publications by the AVE publishing house: Enrique Shaw in Italy, Angel Herrera Horia in Spain, and Armida Barelli in Italy.
